Lately, I’ve been struggling with something many of us face but rarely talk about:
- Time ⏳
Between my full-time job, building my personal brand, writing on LinkedIn, and participating in social engagement activities across multiple organisations...
I found myself overwhelmed.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m incredibly grateful!
This year has been a breakthrough for my personal brand, and with that came exciting invitations to join committees and boards.
But as the opportunities piled up, so did the pressure.
🏃♀️ I wanted to say yes to everything. I wanted to have it all.
I also wanted to maximise my potential and all opportunities because I have experienced regrets before by not saying yes to everything.
✏️ But here’s the truth:
“Having it all” takes time, energy, and resources.
And trying to juggle everything good health, strong relationships, career performance, consistent content creation, public speaking, and community involvement started to make me feel time and energy isn't enough
I wasn’t doing my best in any one area.
📩 So I hit pause.
I took a week off to breathe, reflect, and reset.
And in that space, I found clarity:
I don’t need to do everything at once.
I just need to do what matters most and align with my priorities.
✨ If you’re feeling stretched thin, know that you’re not alone.
It’s okay to slow down.
It’s okay to say no.
And find out what is the most important to you!
- What about you?
