I want to share a personal story of what I did after my A Level exams to remind me to create luck at all times.
š After my public exam, I had 2 months of free time before the result annoucement.
āļø During that period, I wanted to travel but at the same time I needed to support my expenses.
ā° Facebook was a popular social platform and many businesses would advertise their products on the platform
I am not sure if you remember:
There would always be āLucky Drawā posts, which they asked the followers to 1) like, 2) comment and 3) share their pages with 2 friends and you would be eligible for lucky draw.Ā
šļø That time, I took part in around 100-150 lucky draws and recorded in my excel spreadsheet with their deadlines and their prize annoucementsĀ
š« Because I was so free that time, I joined as many as I can and I ended up winning around 6-7 prizes
š Some included a pair of branded new shoes, a bottle of red wine and some decent clothes
I sold those items on Yahoo Auction or eBay and it supported a tiny portion of my travel expensesĀ
Looking back, I felt silly yet fun about this experience
š“ Youth taught us to take more risks
š“ Youth taught us to be more bold
With more actions, you get luckier in lifeĀ
ā How about you?
ā What do you do to create luck in your life and career?
ā Do you believe creating your own luck?Ā
