The market's picking up, which is great! šĀ
But itās also brought a new challenge:Ā
A surge in junior-to-mid-level roles.Ā
While rewarding, these roles require me to work harder than ever to hit my targets. šŖ
I wasn't even fully aware of my rising anxiety until dinner with friends last week.
š½ļø They noticed the telltale signs:Ā
- I was talking extremely fast
- I was getting frustrated with slow service at the restaurant andĀ
- I even snapped at a taxi driver for missing an exit! š¤š
My friends gently pointed out my unconscious stress or anxiety
I realised I'd been rushing myself because I wanted to do more š„Ā
Thanks to their insightful observations, I'm consciously pacing myself and trying to find a way to do more and efficiently š§āāļøš
This experience highlighted the importance of self-awareness.Ā
