🥚 Reflecting during Easter holiday: How to 3x my revenue

There were over 600,000 outbound travellers leaving Hong Kong to other countries during their Easter holidays

🌏 Many have lamented that a majority of the locals have left to travel elsewhere.

At the same time, there were few inbound travellers

🇭🇰 What we can do is, how we can make Hong Kong a top attractive destination when tourists are choosing their holiday destination.

We have built our Kai Tak Stadium recently and hosted Rugby Sevens and Coldplay concert there. Many have complimented that the venue is world-class level.

We need to understand what makes our skillset attractive to increase the chances of employers CHOOSING me over other candidates

📝 I love holidays because it is a good time to take a break to reflect and spend time having fun with our family and friends.

That’s why I spent Easter talking to a top sales based in US

💰 He made 3 times my sales revenue and I wanted to refine my sales skills so I asked for his advice

I wanted to find new ways to improve myself

🇺🇸 Even though he said it would be difficult to compare HK and US

He said to increase your sales revenue:

1. You need to do things differently from the other top players

2. You need to do it long enough and it is sustainable

3. If you need to beat someone who has been in the industry longer than you, then you need to do things differently which has a higher form of leverage

⏰ Think of ways to produce more output as we all have 24 hours daily

4. You need to sell more expensive items (more senior levels of candidates in my case - even though the market is slow)

He even went into detail on how he approached certain clients

I always enjoy speaking to new and smart people who can teach me new things
