🧠 People asked me why I kept posting on LinkedIn?

ree

To be honest, I think it’s because my life was not as fulfilling as I wanted to be.

And I had to do something about it:

🌟 I must take control of my career

🌟 I want to create a more fulfilling life

In the past, I felt happy only when:

🎉my candidate thanked me for finding him/her a job

🎉my client thanked me for finding accurate profiles

🎉my supervisor complimented me for the hard work

📆📆📆Counting the above, that’s only 3 out of 20 working days!!

📆 Imagine if the three events happened on the same day, I would feel happy on one working day only!!!

So I decided to take charge of my career and life: Adding more happy days in my job every month!

📝 I began by writing recruitment market insight for my candidates and clients

📝 They came back to thank me

📝 That added 1-2 more happy days monthly

Then I decided to expand my audience on LinkedIn to share my career advice.

🎉 In the beginning, I would receive one DM per week from a follower saying that my career advice was insightful and authentic.

🎉 As I got more followers, I would receive 10-20 DMs every week.

🎉 People would come to me for career coaching and I felt happy seeing them grow and progress.

I feel more and more fulfilling in my job and I realised we are in control of our career and life. (Allow me to be shallow as I felt joy reading compliments 🤣)

🔴 We are responsible to making our working life happy and meaningful!

🔴 We are responsible to creating more happy days monthly in our job!

It all began by reflecting what sparks you joy in your work!

✅ How many happy days do you have monthly in your work?

✅ How do you take charge of your career?
