Yesterday, I had a client meeting to discuss new hiring needs.
As I left their office, I was unaware that my dress had folded up.
☕ While waiting for the elevator, I stopped by the coffee shop nearby.
A kind female staff from that coffee shop approached me
and gently pointed out that my dress wasn’t straight and was a bit too short.
🏢 I was relieved—I hadn’t yet stepped outside of the office building!
In the bustling mornings of Hong Kong, it’s easy for people to rush by, glued to their phones.
👩 Yet, her thoughtful gesture reminded me of the importance of being a great salesperson.
She did not need to remind me because I did not buy anything.
🤳 Her kindness showed me the value of addressing issues delicately
without causing embarrassment (in the situation, that would be me)
It inspired me to give back and help others when I see a need.
📩 I even took a moment to email the coffee shop to compliment her.
We need more people like her.
