An Inspiring First Coffee
☕ My first coffee chat was with the incredible Cassandra Nadira Lee at Bugis and it was inspiring.
We delved into her journey from a long-time corporate employee to a budding entrepreneur.
Cassandra shared how, despite years in a corporate training role, she felt unfulfilled and reluctant to start her own business.
❓ The fear of losing her paycheck
❓ The challenge of finding her first client held her back.
But then, one of her existing clients encouraged her to take the leap—and that client became her very first business client!
🧠 I love her mindset:
“There’s nothing to lose if I quit my job to start a business. The worst that can happen is losing my salary, but I can always find another job if it doesn’t work out.”
📚 Sometimes we find ourselves stuck in the routine of doing the same things again and again.
But all it takes is a willingness to try something new slowly and gradually.
