I had the pleasure of meeting Eldred Wee at Singapore Coffee inside the historic Raffles Hotel!

💡 Our conversation was not just about the FS industry trends 

We talked about the power of authentic personal branding and consistency.

✍ I know many of my FS followers might not feel comfortable sharing on LinkedIn but I want to share how Eldred landed his M&A deal through his LinkedIn branding.

Yes - Daily 

Not necessarily to gain followers, but as a form of journaling. 

🔥 What struck me most was the background story of why he decides to post daily:

A while ago, when Eldred first met the founder of an accounting firm at Singapore Coffee (Yes - where we had coffee!)

👀 The founder sat down and just shared all the sensitive information to Eldred in the first 15 minutes.

Eldred was shocked as it usually takes time to warm up prospects.

🧠 When Eldred asked why the founder was so open, the client replied

"Because I’ve been following you on LinkedIn, and I trust your brand."

✍ This incident motivated Eldred to stay disciplined in his LinkedIn postings, turning everyday sharing into a way to build credibility.

My takeaway? 

🤳 Whether you're a candidate, hiring manager, or sales, senior management, entrepreneurs, your personal brand is your most valuable currency. 

Keep sharing, stay consistent, and trust that your authentic voice will attract the right opportunities.
