⭐ How does luck play a small part of success in my life?

💻 My Youtube Vs LinkedIn story

👩‍💼 I am not sure if any of you know - I actually started a Youtube Channel 3 years ago. 

I put in a lot of time and effort in Youtube compared to LinkedIn.

I would do book reviews and career advice on my Youtube at least once a week back then. 

🖍 For LinkedIn, I only started posting regularly since April this year. 

However, LinkedIn took off quickly compared to my hard work in Youtube.

📈 I gained more than 4,000 followers on LinkedIn in 3 months.

📉 However on Youtube I only had 2,000 followers in 3 years!

I got lucky with LinkedIn!

📍 Sometimes you never know where luck will happen to you!

I wanted to use this example to encourage all of you to

✏ Create more luck by taking more new actions!

✏ Try as many platform as you can

✏ Step out of your comfort zone

✏ See where your luck and success lie in 

🌟 You never know where you would shine!

I got laughed at a lot when I started my Youtube channel.

However, when I got more followers on LinkedIn.

Instead of laughing at me, 

🌝 People walked up to me at the gym/ MTR station to say they enjoyed my articles a lot

🌝 I got DMs on speaking / event / education invitations

🌝 I got DMs on how my career advice help them

Don’t be shy to start something different in your life.

🌈 Step out of your comfort zone and you will find new adventures and might even reach new heights!

You will definitely be laughed at or criticised.

However, think of it in this way,

🌠 Do you see ordinary people get laughed at or criticised?

Would you rather get laughed at and take no action and be in the same place as where you are now 5 years later OR

would you rather make changes and be a better version of yourself?

🔥 People who take no actions will never be criticised.

🔥 So I encourage you all to step out of your comfort zone and do something new in your life to create new adventures!
