Next month marks my 10-year work anniversary (I feel old..)

In the beginning, promotions are often driven by your technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Focus on mastering your craft.

2. Networking is Key in Middle Management

As you move into middle management, the emphasis shifts. Building a strong network, honing sales skills, and navigating office politics become crucial for advancement.

3. Stay Informed About Market Rates

Always attend interviews—even if you’re not looking to switch jobs. This helps you gauge your market value and ensure you’re compensated fairly.

4. Connections Create Opportunities

The more people you know, the more opportunities and information you’ll have at your fingertips. Networking can open doors you never expected.

5. Maximize Your Energy in the Early Years

Work hard in your first decade. Your energy levels are high, and you can recover quickly from setbacks. Use this time to accelerate your career growth.

6. Invest Early for Financial Freedom

Save and invest as much as you can while you’re young. This will help you avoid trading your time for money as you age.

7. Manage Your Portfolio Wisely

If your salary is less than 10% of your total net worth, focus on managing your investment portfolio. If it’s above 10%, concentrate on increasing your income.

8. Leverage Resources for Efficiency

Always look for ways to leverage tools and resources that can make your work and life easier. Efficiency is key to long-term success.

9. Surround Yourself with Strong Individuals
