Jobs Picked Up in the First Week of Q4! šŸ’¼

Q4 just started last week.

The first few days were extremely quiet for me.

Especially 2–6 October, when everyone was still travelling āœˆļø

Very few emails. Very few phone calls. Which I don't like.

I felt uncomfortable with how quiet it was.

But Q4 is usually my quietest quarter

So I had already managed my own expectations.

Still, quiet doesn't mean stopping

I kept BD-ing hard to see what would come along.

Luckily, things started moving last Thursday šŸ™

Here are the roles I picked up for myself and my colleagues last week:

šŸ”¹ Marketing Manager — Insurance (HK)

šŸ”¹ Secretary — Law Firm (Contract, HK)

šŸ”¹ Finance Manager — Fintech (for myself!)

šŸ”¹ GM — Hotel (HK)

šŸ”¹ Head of Spa — Hotel (HK)

šŸ”¹ Finance Legal Entity Controller — Singapore šŸ‡øšŸ‡¬

It's interesting to see how diverse these roles are from hotels to law firms to fintech.

The market moves in mysterious ways.

On top of that, I'm grateful my colleague passed me a CFO role for a Corporate Bank

šŸ™ So I'm busy working on that mandate too.

One more thing I'm grateful:

I'm currently rankedĀ Top 3Ā in my company for generating the most job referrals šŸ†

My goal?

Finish the year atĀ Top 2.

Thank you to my clients for always reaching out to me to hire first.

I greatly appreciate that!!

So tell me šŸ‘‡

How's your week so far? Are you hearing a lot of hiring going on in your industry?
