When I first started posting on LinkedIn, I thought it was just a place to headhunt my candidates and clients.
Turns out, it’s so much more.
Here are six things I’ve learned from showing up consistently:
1. 📈 The algorithm loves consistency. If you want more followers and visibility, you’ve got to post regularly. Frequency = impressions
I actually find posting one article every 2 days boost my followers and impressions the most.
Let me know about your trick!
2. 📸 Faces get attention. Posts with selfies or photos of you tend to grab more eyeballs. People connect with people.
3. 🧠 You start noticing life more. Writing regularly trains you to observe the world around you and turn everyday moments into stories.
I start to jot down my daily fun conversations on my iPhone’s notes.
4. 🎤 Opportunities show up unexpectedly. I’ve received speaking invitations I never imagined all because of what I shared here.
I originally used LinkedIn to headhunt client and candidates and I never expect to establish my personal brand.
5. ✍️ You become a better writer. I learnt to write a catchy headline.. . LinkedIn forces you to sharpen that skill.
6. 🌍 It expands your world. New connections, fresh ideas, and bigger thinking — all sparked by hitting “post.”
If you’ve been thinking about writing more on LinkedIn, this is your sign.
Start small, stay consistent, and watch what unfolds.
