🌟 The Difference Between 20-Year-Old Me and 30-Year-Old Me

As I step into my 30s, I’ve noticed several changes in how I feel
largely due to my recent HYROX (running & weight lifting) training
I am writing this article as I finished my intense workout and while struggling to walk to MTR station..... (signs of ageing...)
Here are a few key differences of 30 yrs old me vs 20 yrs old me:
1. Physical Ability Decline 🏋️♂️
In my 20s, I could work or exercise for long hours without needing a break.
Late-night parties?
Easy. I can bounce back to office the next morning.
Now?
Recovery takes longer and I can’t do it all like I used to.
2. Learning how to work efficiently to buy back time⏳
With my physical ability down, I’ve learned the importance of efficiency.
I’ve become better at identifying A/B clients.
Clients who genuinely pay
Candidates who are really looking out
As I age, I have realised I need to spend my time intentionally, focusing on effective workouts and solutions because I can no longer work as long hours as I used to.
I need to bring results in a shorter period of time.
3. The Importance of Passive Income 💰
Given my reduced energy, I can no longer trade time for money as easily.
🚗 I find myself taking taxis more often instead of using the MTR or walking home after exercising or attending events.
Because I am tired and also because I want to be home earlier.
⏰ I’ve learned to use money to buy back time and energy for myself.

If I could go back to my early 20s?
I think I would try out as many things as I can.
- Play more sports
- Join more competitions
- Accumulate more clients
- Accumulate more valuable experiences
- Take part in different organisations at work or outside of work
- Develop more hobbies
