🏖️I took leave and got bored.….

The meaning of work:

Previously I mentioned that I slacked off 

I took a 3 days leave and planned to chill in Hong Kong

But then I realised not doing any work at all could be very boring

☕During that 3 days, I read, went to the gym, had coffee and drinks with my friends

I did not touch any work at all

🍹 Yet even after all that I still found myself with plenty of free time.

Eventually I went back to work for a short period on my 3rd day of leave 

My parents think I was insane 

But the feeling of idleness was just too much for me to bear

I realized I really dislike the sensation of doing nothing

It makes me feel useless to society

🏢 This led me to reflect on the deeper meaning of work.

Many people continue to work even after retirement

I think that’s because work gives us a sense of purpose and fulfillment

💰 It’s not just about earning a paycheck

It’s about contributing, staying engaged, and finding meaning in our daily lives.
