🌐 How LinkedIn Brought Me Unexpected Connections and Fresh Ideas!

This weekend reminded me why I love LinkedIn

Not just for work, but for the people it brings into my life.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jenny Lo and Elton Chan, two brilliant minds I connected with through LinkedIn.

What started as a casual coffee chat turned into a deep conversation about how we each use LinkedIn in our daily lives.

💡 Here’s the thing:

None of them are in financial services.

None of them are candidates I’d typically meet through recruitment.

And yet, they’ve already expanded my thinking in ways I didn’t expect.

If I had stayed in my lane (only meeting FS professionals)

I would’ve missed out on this entirely.
