🌸 Happy Easter everyone!

For the first time in a while, I woke up without an alarm clock ⏰
It felt great!!
Q1 is finally wrapped up, and now my focus shifts to Q2.
If you work in sales, you’ll usually prepare for next quarter
The moment Q1 ends, the worry about Q2 revenue begins.
Honestly, preparing for Q2 hasn’t been easy.
The past two weeks were filled with
- nonstop BD calls 📞
- chasing opportunities
- trying to spark new conversations.
But the results weren’t as strong as Q1
Most of the activity came from front office referrals, while back office hiring stayed quiet.
I had expected a wave of resignations after bonus season, but the rate was lower than I predicted.
That tells me something important: the market feels cautious. People are holding onto their jobs, and employers are being conservative.
I will be staying in HK during Easter.
Probably going to read and write more and work occasionally.
My latest read is The Book of Elon Musk.
How’s your Q2 shaping up so far?
Are you seeing the same cautious trend in your industry? 💬
P.S. Photo of me drinking coffee after waking up at 10:30am in Easter.
