Yesterday was one of those unexpectedly meaningful days.
I got to catch up with ACCA Singapore Country Manager Daniel Leung FCCA MSID 梁俊然, Chee Siew Fai, FCCA, MSID, and Nicholas all the way from Singapore 🇸🇬 !
They flew into Hong Kong for the ACCA Annual Dinner.
What started as a casual meet-up turned into a reminder of why I love LinkedIn.
💬 Daniel’s Story That Stuck With Me
Daniel shared how he started posting regularly on LinkedIn and even opened up about a heart condition in one of his posts.
At another dinner event, a stranger walked up to him and said:
“I read your post. Please take care of your health. Eat less, okay?”
That moment touched him deeply.
☎️ It wasn’t just about likes or comments
☎️ It was about real human connection.
🌍 LinkedIn Makes the World Smaller
If I hadn’t been posting consistently, Daniel and I wouldn’t have connected across Hong Kong and Singapore.
LinkedIn didn’t just help us meet
It helped us exchange ideas, stories, and support.
☀️ So here’s my encouragement to you:
Post more. Share more. Connect more.
You never know who’s reading or who might be inspired by your journey.
🎁 Bonus Moment
Thank you, Daniel, for the ACCA red cup (my favorite color!)
☕ It’s now officially my new desk buddy.
And yes, I’m already planning my next trip to Singapore to meet more of my LinkedIn connections in person!
