👩‍🎓 👨‍🎓 JUPAS University Admission Interview – Who stood out and who did not?

I am honoured to be invited by CUHK Business School to sit on the interview panel.

🔴 I was very excited to meet with students who put CUHK as their first choice.

🔴 More excited to listen to what our younger generation had to share!!

Few students who stood out:

- One student started a business and shared in specific details about

✨ the business model

✨ how much profits/loss the company made

✨ the mistakes he/she went through

✨ He/She wanted to apply for business school because of the passion for running the company.

❇ This self-introduction was memorable and personal, and stood out from the rest of the students.

- Another student shared his/her internship experience at one of the local CPA firms.

✨ Also he/she visited a Big 4 during Career Day.

✨ The student made it clear that Big 4 / Accounting was his/her graduate path.

✨ I like students who have clear aspirations and plan ahead where they want to be/or at least have a rough idea

Some performed less ideal:

- One of the students did not prepare or submit his or her CV

- Another barely spoke during the group interview

This showed a lack of effort
