Last week, I received a message from someone who’s been following me on LinkedIn for a long time.
He asked if we could meet up and we did, at a coffee shop near my office after work.
We chatted about books he’s been reading, his new podcast, and how he’s been pursuing his dreams outside of his 9-to-6 job.
I was genuinely impressed.
💡 It reminded me how powerful it is when someone chooses to build something for themselves just because they believe in it.
But what truly touched me was what happened as we said goodbye.
✏️ He pulled out a handwritten thank you card.
He told me he’s been practicing gratitude and wanted to thank me for the impact my posts have had on his journey.
🧡 That Moment Changed My Evening
I walked away feeling deeply moved.
So that night, I said thank you to my family in person.
I even booked a dinner to treat them, just to show appreciation beyond our usual routine.
It reminded me: Gratitude doesn’t need a big occasion.
It just needs intention.
🙏 Thank You my followers for Being Here
To all of you who follow me, read my posts, send me messages, and share your stories
Thank you!!
You inspire me to keep journaling my career, sharing my lessons, and helping others elevate their lives.
🏅 Money can’t buy the joy I felt receiving that card from someone I’d never met before.
But connection, kindness, and impact?
That’s priceless.
💬 Your Turn
