💡 How I Actually Spent My Bonus

I received my bonus on Friday and here’s how I actually spent it.

Apart from buying a pair of Chanel earrings (a little treat for myself ✨),

I spent the rest on just two things:

1. Stocks (both growth and dividend)

2. Sponsoring the Hong Kong Team to compete globally at Enactus Brazil.

📚 The inspiration came from my good friend and cousin, who both recommended the book "Die With Zero"

I finished it last week, and its message taught me:

📩 Balance saving with spending, and maximise life experiences before you die.

The book reminded me that money is more meaningful when spent on experiences and giving back, rather than just possessions.

I was also inspired by global judges I met at Enactus last year.

💡 Many of them invested their own money to support students’ projects.

For me, sponsoring students to improve their presentation and video editing skills felt more impactful than covering hotels.

Skills last longer, and I want them to shine on the global stage.

This bonus made me rethink how I spend:

After reaching financial freedom, the purpose should be investing in experiences and impact 🌍

I even passed the book to my dad… though he put it aside, just like the Uber account I once set up for him. 😅

Happy Sunday!
