💪 Chin Up: The Mindset (& Workout) That Changed Me

Two years ago, when the global economy hit rock bottom and restructuring was everywhere, my sales revenue also dropped to its lowest point. 



It was one of those moments where you question everything.



That’s when my best friend told me: 



“Chin up.”



At first, I thought it was just encouragement. 



I didn’t even realise “chin up” was also a workout in the gym until I mentioned it to my personal trainer. 



He laughed and said, “So… you want to learn how to do a chin up?”



And just like that, we set a goal: 



One bodyweight chin up in 6 months



Fast forward to today.... I can finally do one rep 💥!



What I love about the gym is that effort = output. 



The progress is transparent, visible, and proportional. 



If you put in the work, you see the results.



Work and investments, on the other hand, don’t always follow that formula.



In a bad market, no matter how hard you grind, results can get wiped out.



In a good market, sometimes deals close more easily than the year before, even with less effort.



That contrast taught me something important: 



While we can’t control the market


We can control our mindset, discipline, and resilience



For me, “chin up” became more than just a workout



It became a reminder to keep pushing, even when times are tough.



✨ So here I am, starting 2026 with both a literal and figurative chin up.
